The Soul’d Out band was created in 2013. A group of dedicated musicians with a powerful female lead singer, and a dynamic three-piece horn section, all with an endless passion for the music of your lives. Together, they bring the signature sounds of powerful acts like Earth, Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Lizzo, and more, everything needed to make your event perfect.

In addition to playing at private parties, Soul'd Out offers incredible entertainment for your community.

They have performed at numerous festivals throughout mid-Michigan, including Fenton's Music in the Parks, Linden's Music by the Mill, Swartz Creek Fine Arts in the Park, St. Pio's Festival, Trestle Park Summer Concerts, and Groveland Oaks and Addison Oaks Summer Music series, 4th of July celebrations.

The dynamic band has also kept the energy flowing, and the money coming in, at large fundraisers including the Cars and Bars at Sloan Museum, Night at the Museum Gala, and more.

We recently had a wedding for my daughter and now son-in-law at Addison Oaks in November and this band did the music for us. They were absolutely fantastic! Everyone at the wedding was on the dance floor the whole night! They played all kinds of music and even got in with the crowd while playing. I have heard over and over again that this was the best wedding they had been to and couldn’t stop talking about how great the band was!  Thank you Soul’d Out!!

I recently hired Soul’d Out to play my daughter’s wedding.  As we are a family of musicians, I can say our list of requirements was pretty substantial.   I knew right away who I needed to call and was thrilled when Dan Mata told me they were available!  From the start, dealing with Dan was a pleasure.  He was very accommodative and supportive of all ideas and requests we threw at him.  Our guests are still raving about the good time they had with the band, and even the venue told us they see a lot of bands, but none compare to what they saw and heard from Soul’d Out.   I can’t begin to say enough about the Soul’d Out Band… they are a first-class group of musicians and people, and it’s my pleasure to give them the highest recommendation for anyone’s musical entertainment needs!! The band is very entertaining! They are easy going when it comes to setting up and taking down! The band members are very personable! They interact while playing and they come on the dance floor! Very very fun band! They sing new songs and oldies! You can tell them specifically what you want! Super super fun band! And they can SING! They get people dancing that’s for sure!

We used this band for our daughter's wedding and they were phenomenal! They played all the right music and were the talk of the reception during and after!
